We're glad to have you here for our first edition of our newsletter.
We are committing to publishing this newsletter for 6 months. We’re excited to share our thoughts on creativity, branding, marketing, and the entrepreneurial ideas shaping our work at Aberg Media.
We live in a world where every choice carries baggage, and we’re at the mercy of the hordes. Their influence is so strong we hardly notice it. They shape the ads we see, the movies we choose, even how we feel about them afterward. We don’t even know if we enjoy things or if we’re trying to enjoy them because everyone else does.
It's no longer enough to simply like something, the world now wants to know why you like it, who else approves of it, and whether it fits inside the ever-shifting rules of what's acceptable.
When everything looks polished, optimized, and algorithmically aligned, it's easy to lose sense of what actually resonates. Most brands blend into a sea of perfect sameness of refined visuals, clean messaging, safe positioning. Nothing wrong. Nothing memorable.
That's why purpose and emotional resonance matter. The brands that stand out are the ones that speak with clarity, conviction, and a point of view.. They help people feel something again, something they can trust beyond trends, noise, and the pressure to conform.
Personally for me, this is Pixar and Disney. I grew up in the 90's watching movies like A Bug’s Life, Toy Story, Lion King and Hercules. When I think of this today I feel it in my chest, that's what I want of a brand.
